The first round of Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge 2022 Online Qualifiers is scheduled to take place on 21st April 2022.
Tops teams that competed in the in-game qualifiers and made it to the next round will play with each other to win their ticket to the pro series. A total of four rounds will be played from 21st April to 15th May.
All the registered teams of BMOC 2022 in-game qualifiers, played a total of 15 matches. The top 10 of 15 matches were considered for evaluation and scored accordingly. In the case of a tie, certain parameters such as finishes, survival time, accuracy, etc were considered. T
he top 512 teams qualified for the next round whose results were declared on 17th April through the mail.
BMOC 2022 Online Qualifier Format Explained:
Round 1 – The top 512 squads qualifying from In-Game Qualifiers will be seeded into 32 groups. Each group will have to play 5 matches each on the specified dates. The top 8 teams from each group will further qualify for Round 2 of online qualifiers.
Round 2 – The top 256 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 1 will be seeded into 16 groups. Each group will have to play 5 matches each on the specified dates. The top 4 teams from each group will proceed to online qualifiers Round 3.
Round 3 – Top 64 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 2 will be seeded into 4 groups. Each group will have to play 6 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 8 teams will qualify for Round 4.
Round 4 – Top 32 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 3 along with 32 invited teams will be seeded into 4 groups. Each group will have to play 6 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 6 teams will qualify for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO-SERIES.
