The first round of Battlegrounds Mobile India Open Challenge 2022 Online Qualifiers is scheduled to take place on 21st April 2022. Tops teams that competed in the in-game qualifiers and made it to the next round will play with each other to win their ticket to the pro series. A total of four rounds will be played from 21st April to 15th May.
All the registered teams of BMOC 2022 in-game qualifiers, played a total of 15 matches. The top 10 of 15 matches were considered for evaluation and scored accordingly. In the case of a tie, certain parameters such as finishes, survival time, accuracy, etc were considered. The top 512 teams qualified for the next round whose results were declared on 17th April through the mail.
BMOC 2022 Online Qualifier Format
Round 1 – The top 512 squads qualifying from In-Game Qualifiers will be seeded into 32 groups. Each group will have to play 5 matches each on the specified dates. The top 8 teams from each group will further qualify for Round 2 of online qualifiers.
Round 2 – The top 256 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 1 will be seeded into 16 groups. Each group will have to play 5 matches each on the specified dates. The top 4 teams from each group will proceed to online qualifiers Round 3.
Round 3 – Top 64 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 2 will be seeded into 4 groups. Each group will have to play 6 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 8 teams will qualify for Round 4.
Round 4 – Top 32 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 3 along with 32 invited teams will be seeded into 4 groups. Each group will have to play 6 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 6 teams will qualify for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO-SERIES.
