The new esports season of Battlegrounds Mobile India is around the corner and all the pro and semi-pro players looking to compete in the event. The registrations for the tournament are going on and will continue till 27 March 2022.

Any Indian players who have a BGMI account at level 25 or above and a ranking of platinum 5 or higher can register their teams on BGMI’s Esports Official website. BMOC will act as a qualifying event for the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series which will feature a massive prize pool of INR 2 crore.

Krafton, the developers of the game has released the format of the event through which the teams could make their way through the BMPS 2022.

The players who have registered for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA OPEN CHALLENGE will have to play 15 matches with their registered team members over the given time period.

The top 10 of 15 matches will be considered for evaluation and scored accordingly. In case of a tie, certain parameters such as finishes, survival time, accuracy, etc will be considered. Top 512 teams will qualify for the next round.  Note: Only the first 15 matches played with registered team members shall be deemed valid.

After the completion of In-game qualifiers, the BMOC will have a total of four rounds that will decide the ultimate champions.

Round 1 – The top 512 squads qualifying from In-Game Qualifiers will be seeded into 32 groups. Each group will have to play 5 matches each on the specified dates. The top 8 teams from each group will further qualify for Round 2 of online qualifiers.

Round 2 – The top 256 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 1 will be seeded into 16 groups. Each group will have to play 5 matches each on the specified dates. The top 4 teams from each group will proceed to online qualifiers Round 3.

Round 3 – Top 64 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 2 will be seeded into 4 groups. Each group will have to play 6 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 8 teams will qualify for Round 4.

Round 4 – Top 32 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 3 along with 32 invited teams will be seeded into 4 groups. Each group will have to play 6 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 6 teams will qualify for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA PRO-SERIES.
