Iranian Government bans Call Of Duty Mobile

Not a good day for Iranian COD Mobile lovers.

Call of Duty Mobile is a portable version that represents the entirety of COD in mobile gaming. The game is undoubtedly one of the best shooters available to play on phones right now. However, if you are from Iran and you are a COD Mobile lover, it’s indeed a sad day for you. The game has been banned in Iran without any official notice.

If you open the game now in Iran, it will show, “Unfortunately, we are not yet ready to release the game in your area.” All the Iranian COD Mobile players shocked after the news spread out.

What’s the actual reason behind the ban?

Neither Activision nor the Iranian Government provided any clarification regarding this sudden ban. However, the tensions between the US and Iran are on the rise and the US has already imposed financial sanctions on Iran. This may be the reason behind the COD Mobile ban according to some experts.

COD Mobile is not the first game that god banned in Iran. Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, and League of Legends are also banned in Iran.

We know that a lot of Iranian players have invested time and money in the game, but you can’t really do anything now. Although, you can play the game using a VPN, if you get caught you will be banned for 10 years. Let’s see if the game gets unbanned in the future or not even though the possibility is pretty low.
