Team Liquid announces Call of Duty: Mobile tournament

Team Liquid, the multi regional esports giant has announced an invitational Call of Duty:Mobile tournament called as ‘Proving Grounds’. It will be a 3 week long carnage filled event where the World’s top 8 COD:Mobile teams will compete for the $1000 prize pool.

The list of invited teams is as follows:

  • Team Totality
  • Tribe Gaming
  • D2R
  • Surge
  • Omen Elite
  • Spacestation Gaming
  • Omniscience
  • Merciless

The tournament’s format has been revealed as teams have been divided into 2 groups. Group A consists of Tribe Gaming, Team Totality, Surge and D2R whereas Group B consists of Spacestation Gaming, Omnisience, Merciless and Omen Elite. The first round of the tournament has concluded where teams from Group A participated in a Search and Destroy mode match where Team Totality and Tribe proved dominated and secured a semi final round berth. Teams from Group B will compete on November 8th and will battle it out for the remaining two spots in the semi-finals which will be held on November 15th. The Grand Final of the tournament will be live streamed on Team Liquid’s Twitch channel.
