Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodiya attends Prize Distribution Ceremony of ESPL 2021

Esports Premier League 2021 was one of the biggest Free Fire tournaments of the year and has concluded as a successful event with Mumbai Marshalls winning the event. The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Manish Sisodiya, was invited for this event and hosted the main Prize Distribution event to felicitate the winners.

ESPL 2021 left a footprint in Free Fire esports to become the first ever IPL-themed event in the world and also was one of the largest tournaments hosted in India for Free Fire without Garena as the host. This tournament had a massive prize pool of $25 Lakh and as a result, a huge chunk of Indian player base participated for this tournament.

ESPL crossed a total of 1 million registrations in India and the teams went to rigorous qualifiers to reach the city-based group stages. A total of eight teams represented eight cities in India and battled for glory and monetary rewards.

Sports Ministers from various cities endorsed ESPL by inaugurating the logos and jerseys of respective teams. Various figureheads from different industries have been the part of ESPL. Bollywood star Tiger Shroff was brought in as the brand ambassador of this tournament.

TSM FTX was playing under the name of Mumbai Marshalls for ESPL 2021 and won the tournament. The organizers hosted an award ceremony to give away the prizes for this event and Delhi Deputy CM Mr. Manish Sisodiya was invited for this event as one of the special guests and award felicitator.

Mr. Sisodiya awarded the teams and players for achieving impressive feats throughout this tournament and gave a small speech, encouraging the rising popularity of esports in India.
