Free Fire 0B30 update September 2021: All you need to know

The last OB29 update of Garena: Free Fire was released on August 4th, 2021. This update brought in new characters like Thiva and Dimitri and the new favorite pet Sensei Tig.

Also the weapon AC80 was introduced. Similarly, the OB30 update will have some very interesting additions to the game as well. Here we will share some of the leaks available about the Free Fire OB30 update.

Free Fire OB30 update release date

The OB30 update aka the September 2021 update is expected to be released in the final week of September with no announcements made lately by the developers.

Free Fire OB30 New additions

New Character Dropped: Snowelle

Snowelle is a Lab researcher specialized in nanotechnology and robotics. Snowelle would be one of the female characters in the game and who was first introduced in the Advanced Server released before the OB25 update but didn’t make it into the game. Hopefully, this time is going to be it for her!

Similar to other characters of the game, she also comes with a special skill. Her special ability is a passive skill called ‘Nano Nerves’. Her special skill prevents opponents from using their active skills and stops them from converting EP into HP. The effect remains on the enemies for a short period of time and applies to only those who get a shot from the character.

  • Nano Nerves Level 1: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 45s.
  • Nano Nerves Level 2: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 42s.
  • Nano Nerves Level 3: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 39s.
  • Nano Nerves Level 4: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 36s.
  • Nano Nerves Level 5: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 33s.
  • Nano Nerves Level 6: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, enemies are unable to use active skills, unable to convert EP into HP. CD 30s.

New Character Dropped:  Sverr

Sverr is a top-tier MMA fighter to be introduced in the OB30 update. The character was first spotted in one of the video trailers released by Garena for Free Fire. Later it was made available as a playable character in the Advanced Server released before the OB24 update. But as he didn’t make it into the game, the OB30 update is the time for him to come out!

Sverrhas an Active Skill called ‘Going Berserk.’ This increases the damage buff on his enemies as his HP reduces. At level 1, it consumes 40HP to increase damage by 10%, and the number increases as you level up the character.

New Weapon: G18 – Akimbo

After Vector Akimbo’s introduction with the OB25 update, in the OB30 update, we might get to see the all-new G18 Akimbo. Akimbo imitates the Dual Berettas style where you can fire simultaneously two guns at enemies.

Garena has given the hint of G18 Akmibo in its recently released video trailer related to Free Fire. In this trailer, Kelly can be seen firing two G18 pistols simultaneously at an enemy. As we all know, it is not something new that Garena showed the new feature in trailers.

New Mechanism: Firing from Vehicle

Similar to other battle royale-based games, squad fights are going to get even more exciting as one of the most anticipated fighting mechanics is going to be introduced into the game.

This speculation is also based on the trailer released for the update.

New Vehicle: Scooter

In one of the recent trailers, Shirou from the Free Fire world can be seen riding a Scooter. It is expected to be introduced as a new vehicle in Free Fire with the OB30 update.

New Pistol: MK 40

The Wichita MK-40 a highly specialized pistol is known more specifically as a Silhouette pistol. The gun was primarily designed to be used in competitions organized under the rules of the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association. Briefly, these involve shooting high-velocity ammunition against life-like animal silhouettes at long ranges making it a deadly weapon when fitted with the apt sights and a good player.
