How to transfer your PUBG Mobile account to BGMI for iOS devices

Krafton Inc. has finally released Battlegrounds Mobile India on iOS devices and Indian players can get back their old PUBG Mobile account by the account transfer process. iOS users can directly download the game from official store and complete the steps given below to access their old account.

Battlegrounds Mobile India was launched as an alternative to PUBG Mobile when the latter was banned in India one year ago. Krafton made a hasty launch by going through a short open-beta phase before moving on to the official launch for android devices.

iOS users were left out in the initial process and the reason behind it was not given but the developers were quick to extend the support to iOS platform within a period of couple of months.

Players who own an iOS device with an iOS 9.0 and higher version can enjoy this game. One of the important aspects of this new game is the data transfer process where players can get their old skins and inventory back.

How to transfer your PUBG Mobile ID to BGMI on iOS

Players can simply follow the steps given below to complete the data transfer process:

  • Download BGMI and login using your Facebook or Twitter account.
  • Go to your settings and click on ‘Account Transfer’ button given in the Basics tab.
  • Click on Facebook or Twitter Login method. Make sure to select the account which was previously linked to your PUBG Mobile account.
  • The process will be automatically completed after a short while. Restart your game and login using the same Facebook or Twitter ID.

After completing these steps, players can get their old PUBG Mobile accounts back in the new Battlegrounds Mobile India. Most of the in-game data will be ported but some statistics like K/D or season rankings will be reset.
