Indian Cricket Player Rahul Tewatia joins Godlike Esports

Rahul Tewatia, an Indian cricketer joined the Indian esports organization Godlike Esports. The addition of Tewatia into an esports organization came as a big surprise for all the Indian esports fans. Although, this is not the first time when any Indian cricketer is being associated with Indian Gaming.

Last year, A game streaming and esports-based platform, Rooter Sports, signed Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal as a content creator for its platform. As the signing Chahal is seen streaming mobile games like Battlegrounds Mobile India and Garena Free Fire on the platform.

The inclusion of various sports personalities into the Indian gaming ecosystem is a huge boost and the rise of this community is the next big thing.

Rahul Tewatia (born 20 May 1993) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Haryana in domestic cricket and Gujarat Lions in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He plays as an all-rounder. Rahul Tewatia, 28, was rewarded with a maiden call-up by the BCCI to India’s home T20I squad for the five-match series against England. He was one among three uncapped Indian players to receive their maiden call-up.
