LOL: Wild Rift is catching up to the pace of its PC counterpart League of Legends as the newly launched game is moving towards a more sustainable esports ecosystem. A massive LAN event is planned in Singapore called as Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 and teams from all around the world will be qualifying for this event. Here are the teams that have qualified for this event so far.
Wild Rift Icons Global Championship 2022 can be considered as the pinnacle of Wild Rift esports so far as teams that have traversed a hard way through their regional qualifiers have earned a slot in this global event.
This tournament has a massive prize pool of $2 Million and team that wins this tournament will walk away with a lion’s share and the bragging rights of becoming the new global champions.
Icons Global Championship 2022 is set to start on 14th June with the play-in stage and sixteen qualifying teams will be divided into four groups. Top eight from all the groups will qualify for the groups stage.

Chinese teams will be added to this list once their qualifiers end on 15th May 2022. These teams will be flying down to Suntec Centre in Singapore and battle from 14th June to 9th July to crown the champions.
