Falcons Esports announces Women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Team

Falcons Esports, a burgeoning force in the esports landscape, has recently expanded its competitive reach by acquiring a women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team, marking the organization’s inaugural venture into the women’s mobile gaming sphere. This strategic move not only diversifies their portfolio but also demonstrates their commitment to fostering inclusivity within the esports community.

The newly acquired squad, previously known as GPX Basreng, hails from Indonesia and has been rebranded under the Falcons Esports banner to compete as Falcons Vega. This acquisition signifies Falcons Esports’ ambition to establish a presence in multiple regions, thereby enhancing their global footprint in the competitive gaming industry.

Falcons Esports has already made a name for itself in other gaming titles, such as Dota 2, where they have achieved considerable success by clinching multiple tournament victories in a relatively short period. Additionally, their participation in the M5 World Championships Wild Card Tournament and partnership with M5 champions AP.Bren has solidified their reputation in the MLBB arena.

The Falcons Vega roster comprises talented players including Agatha, Funi, Thall, Caramel, Chincaaw, Meylane, and Violet, who are poised to bring their skills and competitive spirit to the forefront of women’s esports. Despite the team’s promising outlook, they will not be competing in the upcoming MLBB Women’s Invitational 2024 (MWI), as they were narrowly defeated by Bigetron Era (now Team Vitality) in the grand finals of the Indonesian WSL back in February.

The absence from MWI 2024, however, does not dampen the enthusiasm surrounding Falcons Vega. The team, along with Falcons Esports, is looking forward to securing significant victories and making an impact in future competitions.

The entry of established organizations like Falcons Esports into women’s MLBB is a testament to the growing appeal and potential of the game. It also reflects a broader trend of increased investment and interest in women’s esports, which is expected to contribute to the rapid growth and development of the industry.

As Falcons Esports takes flight with their first-ever female MOBA MLBB team, the esports community eagerly anticipates the fresh dynamics and thrilling matches that will unfold. With a strong foundation and a clear vision for the future, Falcons Vega is set to become a formidable contender on the global stage.
