PUBG India Pvt Ltd Registered – What Does This Mean?

PUBG India Private Ltd. is officially registered in India and this can mean that the launch can be expected pretty soon.

PUBG Mobile India can be considered as the most awaited mobile game in India and since the announcements of its relaunch, the game has created a lot of hype surrounding its release date and details of this return. The developments of PUBG Mobile’s return in the country has moved in a positive direction till now and the registration of PUBG India Private Ltd. can be considered as biggest among them.

PUBG Corporation announced that they will set-up a local office in India to contribute to the development of the Indian video game, esports, IT, and entertainment industries and has lived up to their promise.

PUBG Corporation has officially registered its Indian subsidiary under the title PUBG India Private Ltd on 21st November in Bangalore, Karnataka. The company has officially appointed two directors named Sean Sohn and Kumar Krishnan Iyer for this new subsidiary.  Sean Sohn is the head of corporate development at PUBG Corp. (KRAFTON) and Kumar Krishnan Iyer has directorship in ten companies including the Indian subsidiaries of Spotify IndiaAccuWeather India and Phazr.

This registration is a huge step for PUBG Mobile return in India. The biggest obstacle that the game can potentially have is the government’s nod of approval and now that the company is registered, the path for the game’s launch looks clear.

The launch date for PUBG Mobile India was speculated to be around the festive season of Diwali but there no further announcements or release took place till date and if the launch was halted till the subsidiary was officially registered, we can expect an announcement by PUBG Mobile India officials very soon.
