PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile is setting the gaming arena on fire with its upcoming 2.7 update. This much-anticipated update promises to be a colossal overhaul, offering an array of innovative features, a new collaboration, and a reimagined esports landscape.
PUBG Mobile has always been at the forefront of delivering exhilarating gaming experiences. Its 2.7 update, anticipated to drop in July 2023, is no exception. The update brings forth a collaboration with Dragon Ball, known as the “X Dragon Ball Collab”, introducing popular characters such as Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan into the game’s universe. Gamers can also look forward to a Dragon Ball Discovery event.
But the excitement doesn’t end there. The update carries a plethora of new features that will drastically change the way you experience the battlegrounds. From a “Scan the area” feature for enemies, a “Supply Scan” feature, to a “Vehicle AirDrop” and “Remote Shop”, the new offerings are set to make gameplay even more dynamic. Notably, a “New companion” will be available on the classic maps, along with a “New player launcher” and a “New crossbow” that will explode vehicles and burn huts. This update also brings a new weapon — the AC VAL — equipped with an in-built suppressor. The Quarry in Erangel will be revamped, and players can anticipate the “Month 20 Royale Pass” and “New Cycle 4 Season 11″.
In addition to the game features, the esports ecosystem of PUBG Mobile is also evolving. The 2023 esports roadmap introduces significant changes to the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL). PMPL qualifiers will continue to foster new talent through regional pipelines. Notably, the PMPL SEA region undergoes a significant transformation. MPL Malaysia/Singapore/Philippines (MY/SG/PH) will now be known as PMPL Malaysia, merging all the regions into one. A new region is added to the PMPL Wildcards, including the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore regions.
Here are all the steps to download it when it will be available:
- First, go to the official PUBG Mobile site.
- Then Click and check on the Beta Tab.
- Then Click on the Download Button.
- After downloading the app, players need to install it on their devices.
Furthermore, PUBG Mobile Esports is introducing the PUBG Mobile Regional Clash (PMRC), a new event within Asia. Teams from different regions will battle on the same platform for glory. However, this event will not be part of the official esports roadmap as a qualifier event. To add to the thrill, the points system is undergoing a major overhaul, reducing the total points by almost 50% to encourage teams to fight harder and intensify the tournaments in the upcoming year.
The wave of changes with the PUBG Mobile 2.7 update and the 2023 esports roadmap will surely redefine the gaming experience and bring a new level of excitement to the PUBG Mobile community.
