Krafton and PUBG Corp. recently announced their new mobile title under PUBG franchise. This new game is called “PUBG: New State” and is a futuristic and more technically advanced iteration of the current version. The pre-registration for this game began on the day of announcement but Indian fans were disappointed when the region was barred from participating in this registration process. Apparently, that was not the original plan as Hindi language support was found on the official website in a disabled state.
PUBG Mobile has been banned in India for almost six months and while PUBG Mobile India is struggling to make its way in the country, Krafton announced this new game. As expected, the game was unavailable in the country but a report by Gemwire unearthed the fact that there was a possibility of PUBG: New State launching in India as well.
The pre-registration process was disabled for India, China and Vietnam as per the official press release of PUBG New State but most likely that was not the original plan. Gemwire inspected the code on the official website and found out a Hindi package which was disabled on the website of PUBG New State.
This package included almost the entirety of website being translated into Hindi language, except the official trailer. Currently the website supports 19 languages excluding Hindi. If the code is slightly altered, Hindi is added to the list of supported languages.

As Hindi language was added on the website but disabled, it suggests that PUBG: New State was supposed to be launched in India as well but the decision was changed for some reason or that the game could be launched in India in the future.
This implication is not a solid proof based on which one can deduce if PUBG: New State will be launched in India or not so PUBG Mobile fans just need to wait patiently until Krafton announces their plans for the Indian region.
