League of Legends: Wild Rift is the new MOBA title from Riot Games which quickly gained popularity and lived up to the hype of bringing the League experience on a mobile device. As the game is almost launched globally, Riot games have already preplanned the entire season ahead of time. Check out the release date of Wild Rift patch 2.2.
Wild Rift was in the closed beta stage in the last quarter of 2020 but since then, the progress made was so exponential that the game quickly moved into open beta for the SEA region to a global launch for other regions in December. More and more regions are added since then and now, only India and other smaller regions remain to be included in Wild Rift.
Riot Games released a detailed plan about the major patch updates that will be introduced throughout the year. The original series of patches will remain as 2.x and after every two months, a new patch will begin. The recent patch 2.1 update brought the first ranked season to the game. Moreover, a ton of new champions is coming till march.
Wild Rift Patch 2.2 Release Date
Wild Rift is still under patch 2.1 and some might wonder when the next update will be released. As mentioned before, the detailed plan is already released and Wild Rift patch 2.2 is coming on 30th March 2021. You can check the release date for all the patches by clicking here.
The patch updates could be delayed by one or two days but these dates are mostly accurate and you can expect Wild Rift patch 2.2 to hit the market in the last week of March.
