Wild Rift Horizon Cup: Day One Standings

Wild Rift Horizon Cup, the first ever international Wild Rift tournament begins from today with top 10 teams around the world competing for a grand prize pool of $500,000. The group stages begin today with teams split into two groups. The first day was dominated by Da Kun Gaming and Team Queso in their respective groups.

Da Kun Gaming, the Chinese representatives qualifying from Sparks Invitational, kickstarted this LAN event with a stomping victory over SEA Championship Winners SBTC Esports. China is one of the major regions in the League of Legends esports circuit and a similar trend was seen in Wild Rift as well.

Team Queso showcased a similar level of aggression in second match and defeated eBro Gaming by a huge margin. EBG lacked team gameplay in the first round and recovered a bit by second match but Team Queso overwhelmed them with perfect teamfighting executions.

ThunderTalk Gaming and Team Secret put up a show for audience and walked away with one match victory secured for each of them.
