After its success at Gydnia Arena in 2018 and 2019, Games Clash Series is set to return in 2020 with a higher prize pool with double the events. Games Clash Series will have $100,000 prize pool each for Games Clash Arena Gilwice and Games Clash Masters Gydnia. Each event will host 8 teams – 6 teams shall be invited by the organisers while 2 will enter through qualifiers.
Gilwice event will be held on June 05-07 at Gilwice Arena while the latter shall take place between September 11-13 at Gydnia Arena later this year. Gilwice Arena is one of the largest esport venues in the country. The event will be officially streamed in Polish and English language while the streams in other languages are likely to be outsourced to the community.
The previous iteration was triumphed by Illuminar. Other than Counter-Strike, the event will host festival activities for visitors. The prize pool distribution for both the events is as follows:
- 1st: $50,000
- 2nd: $20,000
- 3rd-4th: $10,000
- 5th-6th: $3,000
- 7th-8th: 2,000
