There is no denying that the multiplayer cross-platform game, Among Us is trending all over the Internet right now. Nearly everyone is hooked to the game – from your next-door neighbor to big-time streamers such as Shroud, Pokimane, and even Pewdiepie himself. The game gained a lot of popularity recently, even though it was first released more than two years ago in June 2018.
Among Us doesn’t boast of high-end graphics or a super catchy soundtrack. What makes the game so popular is its simple mechanics and the fact that it is extremely fun to play with friends. A lobby of 4 to 10 players can play online or over a local Wi-Fi network as they figure out who the impostors on their spaceship are.
The game requires strategic deduction, reasoning (well, most of the time), and a decent knack for lying to win the game. The one way to trick boomers into voting fast is to confuse them with your in-game nick and the color of your character. I am sure this idea isn’t exactly innovation for you, but you’d be surprised at how much it works.
Name yourself blue, and chose the color cyan, and if everything goes well, people will be confused much during voting. Even though they’re trying to frame or suspect you, you already have four players in the game co-incidentally taking the bullet for you.

What better way to mislead all the players in the lobby than to confuse the living hell out of them? Imagine the look of utter doubt on their faces when they see “No one was ejected” or “No one was an impostor”. Or better yet, when someone in your lobby says “Vote no one” and everyone else skips the vote? That is the ultimate reward for having this as your username.
