Vitality have announced the signing of Alex “ALEX” McMeekin, a day after they announced the release of Vincent “Happy” Schopenhauer.
The move gained traction after the release of Happy was quickly followed by the benching of ALEX from the active lineup of LDLC.
Following the announcement of our roster changes, we're glad to welcome @Vitality_ALEX as a new member of our CSGO squad, please give him a warm welcome 🐝 #VforVictory pic.twitter.com/4Fao9F4zx3

ALEX, who has played in the French scene his entire CS career, is known to be an aggressive rifler with an ability to lurk. The Englishman is also close with apEX which could be another reason for the move.
Vitality, who have had just one chance to play on LAN at Dreamhack Atlanta, surprised many by winning the event. They even qualified for the European Minor for the Katowice Major next year.
Despite promising results, they sacked coach Philippe “faculty” Rodier and just 5 months since inception have removed their first player in Happy, indicating that they are not satisfied with where they currently stand.
This means that Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt is set to be the in-game leader moving forward. The full roster now stands as:
