Among us is the most hyped game right now. The game offers memorable experiences and surprising moments that lead to an enjoyable experience for the players. As the game became popular after two years of its initial launch, it was not completely stable and hence to work on it, the developers cancelled Among Us 2 and are now focusing on improving Among us itself. A new update is coming soon for all the platforms and here is what you can expect out of it.
Among us is currently the global phenomenon and is a simple and casual game that is enjoyed by many. From Twitch stars to celebrities, everybody is trying their hands on this game but it is far from stable. From several server issues, the game lacks several integral parts like the player identification system. The upcoming update is said to fix many issues along with some major changes.
Among us public beta
Among us has already entered a new public beta testing on PC platforms and players can access the beta version via Steam. Many players from the community have stated the same process and here is how to do it:
- Launch Steam and right click on Among Us.
- Go to properties.
- Go to betas tab and switch on public beta.
Among Us Update new features
With the public beta enabled, players have noticed several changes in the game settings and game itself. The game has introduced two massive features of “Task Bar Off” and “Anonymous Voting” which will add a big twist to Among Us.
Anonymous Voting
Several players who entered public beta noticed and informed this change as soon as possible. This feature is self explanatory and enables players to vote anonymously. This means that the vote will no longer be visible at the end of meetings and hence, adds an element of surprise to the matches.
Task Bar toggle
This is another massive change that favours the imposters. The players who used to keep a keen eye on the task bar to catch the imposters that faked tasks can no longer do so. There is an option to enable the task bar but turning it off makes the game more thrilling.
Colourblind support
The colourblind community that found it hard to complete the most common “Fix Wiring” task due to its colour differences don’t have to worry anymore. With the new update, the game will introduce unique signs for each colour to make the tasks easier for them.
