Earlier this week, Twitch decided to launch a whole new category exclusively for the streamers who stream “Just Chatting” but either on a beach or in a hot tub. This meta might end up being a limp for most of the partnered streamers as advertisers can now choose to pull out from such kind of content, eventually making the former lose a formidable amount of revenue from their streams.
Despite the deemed monetary setback, the “Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches category” has been ranked 26th by Twitch and has come out on top with a whopping 1.4 Million Hours of watch-time over the past week. Other streamers like Indiefoxx and ExoHydraX have too clocked a combined sum of 100,000 hours from their streams.
