In the latest Apex Legends series of “Stories from the Outlands”, Respawn Entertainment has revealed their upcoming legend ‘Valkyrie’.
The new trailer follows the story of Valkyrie, who has a direct connection between the Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends universes.
We’ve had reports from various dataminers about Valkyrie being the next legend for quite a while now, and the trailer has confirmed the rumours.
“Bold, brash, fiery and fierce, Kairi Imahara grew up in the shadow of her father’s legacy. But now she’s ready to launch her own.”
The upcoming Apex Legends ‘Legacy’ update is set to arrive on May 4th, as confirmed by the developers themselves. The update will officially introduce Valkyrie to the battle royale title.
The legacy update will undoubtedly be one of the biggest updates Apex Legends fans have had in a while, which you can read all about in the official website here.
Apex Legends Valkyrie Abilities
As revealed by dataminers previously, her kit will consist of the following abilities:
VTOL Jets (passive) – Hold jump to initiate VTOL Jets – allows hovering in the air.
- Cluster Missile (tactical) – Fire a rocket that explodes multiple times.
- Skyward (ultimate) – Press once to prepare for launch. Teammates can interact with Valk to join the launch. Press again to launch into the air and skydive.
However, her abilities haven’t been confirmed by the devs as of yet.
