Arsenal Owner eyes entry into Valorant Esports

Kroenke Sports and Entertainment (KSE), an American holding company, is reportedly looking to enter Valorant Esports next year. This company was founded by Stan Kroenke who is widely known for his ownership of English Premier League club Arsenal F.C.

Valorant Esports has grown wildly in the last couple of years with big tournaments lined up for the future. This new FPS title by Riot Games has seen many pros from CSGO transition to Valorant and almost all well known organizations have picked up power-packed rosters to compete in future Valorant tournaments.

According to a report by Upcomer, Stan Kroenke and his company is eyeing an entry in Valorant Esports very soon. This team will be based out of Los Angeles and KSE has already hired their first player.

Michael ‘neT’ Bernet will reportedly be the first player on the Valorant roster of KSE. He has played in some squads but not made any notable debut yet. Other players on this roster remain a mystery for now.

KSE currently owns two esports teams, both of them playing in a franchised tournament format. KSE owns LA Gladiators in Overwatch League and LA Guerillas in COD League. This will be their third esports roster but they won’t be able to participate in franchised tournaments yet.

Tournament franchising and league formatted events are yet to take place for Valorant and apart from Riot Game’s main title League of Legends, NA region does not have any franchised tournament yet. Riot Games might set up a similar kind of structure for Valorant as well but the details remain vague for now.
