ASUS announce ROG Academy for Esport Enthusiasts in India

The objective of this initiative is to help PC gamers sharpen their skills and to prepare them for competitive esports tournaments at a national and international level.

World’s leading gaming hardware manufacturer, Asus Republic of Gamers have announced ROG Academy for Esports enthusiasts in India to empower PC gamers.

The objective of this initiative is to help PC gamers sharpen their skills and to prepare them for competitive esports tournaments at a national and international level.

Gamers will be screened through a selection process, and chosen ones will be enrolled in a number of programs and initiatives that will prepare them for the upper echelons of competitive esports along with building a healthy eco-system that supports and generalizes gaming.

The selection process will take place in 4 parts across the year, with one selection window per quarter.

The shortlisted players will further be involved in a selection process that will finalize 6 players that will go through exercises that will help improve their individual skills, team play, communication, and several other aspects of competitive gaming with the help of experienced mentors and coaches.

How to Apply For ROG Academy In India

Registration is open for every aspiring gamer aging between 16 and 18 from the link given below. However, participants will need consent from their parents.

The registration process is open from 1st Feb till 10th Feb. Top participants from each tryout will receive a stipend of INR 15,000 to help with their cause along with enrollment in their program.

The first quarter will focus on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, one of the games that laid the foundation of Indian esports. The Panelists will be represented by ASUS ROG, partners. ASUS ROG will reward INR 100,000 in winnings to all the final 6 players, once they overcome their 3-month training successfully.
