B-Site announces $100,000 Global Lan Qualifiers

Today, Faceit revealed details about the upcoming (not-yet-officially named) B-Site League’s Lan Qualifiers where teams will be competing for a prize pool of $100K and a spot to the main Season 1 event.

According to a tweet by @ECS, the open qualifiers will go live from 5th Feb to 17th Feb and will be divided into 3 regions i.e. Europe, North America, and South America. Each region will feature 32 teams out of which 16 will be invited directly and 16 will come from open bracket. The registration for the open bracket is live now.

The top two teams from each of the three regions will then compete directly in Global Lan Qualifiers and stand a chance to win $100,000 prize money and secure a spot in Season 1. This event will be taking place at FACEIT’s Los Angeles studios.

In addition to the above announcement, B-Site League will also pay a monthly stipend of $25,000 ( $5000 per player) till the duration of Season 1 should a team without the backing of any organization make it to the League.

Europe

  • Open Qualifier #1 – February 5-7 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #2 – February 8 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #3 – February 9 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #4 – February 10-12 (Register)
  • Closed Qualifier – February 14-17

North America

  • Open Qualifier #1 – February 5-7 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #2 – February 8 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #3 – February 9 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #4 – February 10-12 (Register)
  • Closed Qualifier – February 14-16

South America

  • Open Qualifier #1 – February 5-7 (Register)
  • Open Qualifier #2 – February 8 (Register)
