Battlegrounds Mobile India BGMI removed from Google Play Store

Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of the world-famous battle royale mobile game ‘PUBG Mobile’ has been removed from Google Play Store. The news came as a shock to all the BGMI lovers and the Indian gaming community. Seeing the intense craze for the game throughout the country.

The reason behind the game’s removal has been unknown. Although at the time of writing the game is available to download on the App store.

BGMI is one of the most played games ever launched for Indian players. The popularity of the game is such that its esports tournament was broadcasted live on national television. The event got massive viewership but the game’s removal from the play store doesn’t look good for Indian esports.

Recently, the publishers have collaborated with Blackpink a South Korean K-POP girl group to bring interesting events and rewards for the players.

Neither, Google officials nor Krafton, the developers of the game have come up with any statements. And there is no information about the BGMI ban from the Indian government.
