BGMI Ban: NGO ‘Prahar’ thanks Indian Govt for Game Ban

An NGO named ‘Prahar’ has expressed their gratitude towards the Indian government and MeitY for banning BGMI in the country. They recently posted a video thanking the government for their recent move of banning the popular BR game.

Prahar was actively working towards banning BGMI in India. They had urged the government to take this move in March 2022. According to them, BGMI should have been included in the list of previously banned applications.

NGO Prahar Thankls Indian Govt For Banning BGMI

This issue was raised once again in the monsoon parliamentary session. This time, the expectancy of BGMI and its involvement in a homicide case were mentioned.

Yesterday, BGMI was removed from Google Play and Apple App Store and according to our reports, BGMI was banned in the country. Krafton and government authorities were going to conduct a meeting today and apparently, it has not been fruitful.

BGMI ban confirmed today as MeitY has banned this app under Section 69A of IT act.

‘Prahar’ mentioned that BGMI was no different than PUBG and Tencent was still controlling the app in the background.
