India is finally reappearing to compete in the PUBG Mobile ecosystem after a span of two years. PUBG Mobile esports team is allotting the final invitational slot of PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 Grand Finals to the winners of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series.
PUBGM esports is currently hosting the PMGC 2021 League Finals for East and West regions. The top nine teams from the east and the top six from the west will be moving ahead to the grand finals. The winners of BGIS 2021 will be added to this list to make a total of the top 16 teams from around the world fighting for glory and a massive prize pool.
India was out of the loop for the past two years as PUBG Mobile was banned in India. The practice and scrimmages continued within the country but no international participation was seen. India is home to various powerhouses in PUBG Mobile esports and finally, they will get a chance to showcase their skills on the international stage once again.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is currently the largest and only official tournament in India for BGMI esports as teams from various leagues will be tested in different levels of competition. The winners will walk away with a lion’s share of the ₹1 Crore prize pool and now, they will also receive an invite for an international competition.
PMGC 2021 has more than 30 countries and split into east and west divisions and now India is added to that list to truly ensure a global level of competition. PMGC 2021 Grand Finals will be hosted from 21st to 23rd January 2022.
PMGC 2021 is the chance for Indian rosters to get back on track and showcase their prowess to the world once again. Two years back, Indian team Orange Rock was inches close to snatch away the global trophy from the hands of Bigetron RA and it will be interesting to see how the meta has changed globally.
