Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) players have recently been grappling with severe game issues, leading to widespread frustration across the community. Players have reported being stuck at the 73% loading screen when trying to start a game and being abruptly kicked out of lobbies. These issues have significantly marred the gaming experience for many.
Krafton Reveals Efforts to Fix DDoS Attack on BGMI
In response to the DDoS attacks, BGMI’s developer Krafton has taken decisive action. In a recent announcement on their official Discord server, Krafton disclosed that the game has been targeted by a large-scale Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. The company is working tirelessly to mitigate the attack’s impact and restore normal gameplay.
DDoS is a malicious cyber attack aimed at disrupting the normal functioning of a targeted server, service, or network by overwhelming it with a flood of internet traffic from multiple sources. This flood of traffic, generated by a network of compromised devices or bots controlled by the attacker, exhausts the resources of the target system, making it inaccessible to legitimate users.
Krafton identified several Telegram bots and channels as potential culprits behind the attack. The list includes:
- @NuclearMom
- @EAGLEMODSCHAT
- @paradoxvipchat
- t.me/+_ZrdJrO7kSQ4OGU1
- t.me/+-KYmRQwl2vU5NGRl
- t.me/+3gRyvZOwAM4yNTk0

The developers at Krafton are actively reverse-engineering the attacks to enhance their defenses and prevent future incidents. Legal notices have already been issued to deter some identified bots, such as @NUCLEARFREEDDOSBOT and @NuclearMom. Krafton also plans to take individual legal action against other sources identified in the attack. Additionally, Krafton’s team is collaborating closely with Telegram to identify those responsible for orchestrating these attacks.
