Black Lives Matters rioters loot and destroy Gravity Gaming Lounge in Wisconsin

The gaming lounge located in Kenosha, Wisconsin will be forced to shut down.

The town of Kenosha, Wisconsin has been the witness to repeated protests recently after the Black Lives Matter movement shook the city following the shooting of an unarmed black man by a police officer.

However, things swiftly took a violent turn when rioters seized this opportunity to destroy and loot parts of the city. The Gravity Gaming Lounge located in the town wasn’t ignored by the rioters, as they proceeded to destroy and loot the business, forcing them to shut down as mentioned in a Facebook post by them on August 25th.

“We spent most of today looking at the damage and everything stolen and evaluating our business decision,” the post said. “Cleaning and getting what was remaining out and boarding up to protect the building from further harm”

The estimated damages caused was assumed to be $20,000 for the doors, window and interior repairs and another $20,000 for operating equipment, which according to them included 8 Xbox one S and 8 PS4 pros. All of these equipment was stolen by the rioters as well as another $10,000 worth of video game collections. Besides all these, 8 monitors were damaged beyond repair, 2 PC setups and 2 Nintendo Switches were also entirely stolen by the mob.

“It brings us to tears to see all the support flooding in from our customers and the community,” the Facebook post continued. “For those that messaged us we will eventually respond it’s just been a heart wrecking day to see something we fought for just taken from us.”

Gravity Gaming Lounge has denied to take any donations from people, “the last thing we want to do with our given times is take something that someone else is more deserving of in this time.” They mentioned that they’ll be sorting things out with their insurance company over the next month.
