The BLAST Premier 2020 will eventually end later this month with the commencement of BLAST Premier: Global Finals 2020. The event will kick off on January 19 for the next six days until January 24. With a whopping prize pool of 1 million USD, BLAST will end the series in fashion. All of the top three ranked teams – Astralis, Vitality and Na’Vi and six out of the top ten teams will be in attendance at the first top tier event of 2021.
Blast Global Finals 2020 Teams
A total of 8 teams shall be battling out in Serbia. All the teams have qualified through previous events like the BLAST Fall Finals, Spring Finals, etc. or in accordance with the BLAST team rankings.
Team Liquid will be playing its first tournament with the Brazilian AWPer Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo while FURIA will be missing its newest addition – Paytyn “junior” Johnson due to passport issues. Also, Jakob “JUGi” Hansen will be standing-in for Valentin “poizon” Vasilev in Complexity Gaming as the 22-year-old recovers following the emergency surgery.

Blast Global Finals 2020 Format
The event will feature a double-elimination best-of-three format. In other words, if a team loses a match, it will be relegated to the lower-brackets and will have a second opportunity to showcase their mettle. The grand finale will also be a best-of-three encounter.
Blast Global Finals 2020 Prize Pool
A sum of $1,000,000 will be divided among eight teams while the triumphant grabs the massive share of $600,000.
