BLAST to host the Fortnite Championship Series and the Rocket League Championship Series

Popular esports tournament organizer BLAST has announced their partnership with Epic Games to operate the premier event of their two flagship esports titles Fortnite and Rocket League on X.

BLAST has been one of the best esports event organizers in the world if not the best, known for their standout production quality that makes the esports event more engaging and enjoyable. With the latest agreement between BLAST and Epic Games, the former will take over the operations of competitions, event production, and marketing of the RLCS and FNCS.

Fans have a fond memory of BLAST hosting FNCS events in the past and most recently the FNCS Global Championship in the Royal Arena of Copenhagen. EPIC has now extended its relationship with this multi-year deal that will see BLAST not only host Fortnite events but Rocket League events right alongside it.

“Pioneering positive change in esports has always been part of the BLAST DNA and this announcement is an amazing continuation of that journey. Working together with the world’s biggest game publishers to elevate and grow their competitive properties has been a huge area of focus for BLAST in recent years. This collaboration is testament to that hard work and we are delighted to expand our relationship with Epic Games by operating the Rocket League Championship Series in addition to the Fortnite Championship Series.”

BLAST has always stood out with its top-of-the-line production quality and a very aesthetically pleasing theme for its events as a result none of its events go by without staggering viewership. It can be debated that the previous FNCS events hosted by BLAST were better than the ones that came before and as a result, EPIC handing them the rights for their future events will only benefit the esport scene for both games.
