BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen viewer’s guide

Blast Pro Series Copenhagen is set to grace our screen later this week. This event will see a prize pool of $250000 and will be the the last premier event before the World Finals. Here is a deeper insight into the action packed two days in Copenhagen.

Six teams are set to compete for $250000 in the iconic Royal Arena to book a place in the World Finals. Like any other blast premier, the tournament will open up with best of 1 matches, with a table set to record the top two at the end of every best of ones will lock horns in the finals. The finals will the top two teams face off in a best of three.

Besides regular matches, the tournament will feature the signature BLAST Pro Stand-off, where the third-placed team will enjoy the right to select a team to challenge in a series of 1v1 for $20000.

Here are the BLAST Pro Series point standings:

  • Liquid – 26 Points (qualified for Global Final)
  • Astralis – 22 Points (qualified for Global Final)
  • FaZe – 20 Points (qualified for Global Final)
  • NiP – 16 Points
  • MIBR – 12 Points
  • Natus Vincere – 6 Points
  • Cloud9 – 6 Points

Participants of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2019 are:

  • Cloud9
  • FaZe
  • Liquid
  • Natus Vincere
  • NiP

Natus Vincere, Cloud9 and NiP still have a chance to qualify for the Global Final event in Bahrain. The Ninjas need to only place fifth or higher for a final spot at the $500,000 event, while the other two teams need to take the trophy home.

The event will see Adam Savage and Alex “Machine” Richardson hosting the analyst desk with Freakie Ward as the interviewer.
