Call Of Duty League Major IV Outlook

Following Toronto Ultra’s victory at the previous Call of Duty League Championships, this year’s competition is sure to be just as intense. The Call of Duty League Major 4 will make its debut on 20 April with the championship weekend scheduled to take place on the 15th-18th of June at the Thomas and Mack Center UNLV in Las Vegas.

The league has two majors left until the championships, and every team is vying for the trophy.

The 12 best Call of Duty teams in the league will compete through a series of four games, with the top eight being seeded into the Upper Bracket and the bottom four teams into the Lower Bracket. The Major 4 Tournament will run for three days, with the first matchups featuring the top eight teams followed by the lower bracket matches, who are currently still waiting for their contenders.

Though the Atlanta FaZe is leading the board with a total of 225 points, most betting sites have revealed that OpTic Texas is the current favorite.

The FaZe have managed to win three-of-five qualifying matches and logically, together with their standings, one can assume their chances at securing the win in this Major look very good. However, this team is a bit difficult to predict prematurely as their performances do not always reflect their end. They were still able to win Major 4 despite their poor performance through qualifiers, hence, they should never be underestimated.

The Texans are riding high on their 5-0 record at qualifiers, a feat no other team has managed to achieve. Although they had a similar run during the Major 2 qualifiers and still finished in fourth place, this run may prove different.

Their first matchup is with the Boston Breaches, and despite OpTic’s impressive run, Boston is definitely a match for these powerhouses. Predictions are leaning toward Texas securing the win but it will be quite a close game. WynnBET Massachusetts promo code will have all the latest sign-up bonuses for you to take advantage of to support Boston Breach as they look to pave their way to the championships.

Last year’s champions, the Toronto Ultras, have notably been struggling this season, only securing a single victory from their five series in the qualifiers.

In order to have another shot at the 500k cash prize, they would require nothing short of a miracle, seeing as they’re beginning the Major in the lower bracket. They’re currently ranked second place in the league standings, but it’s still anyone’s game.

The New York Subliners have not made many achievements since winning Major 1, although they did manage to score better during the Major 4 qualifying matches. They hold a 4-1 record and one loss to fan favorites OpTic Texas and are ranked in third place in the league standings.

They’re a team that definitely holds great potential in securing plaudits this season if they keep playing well.

The Los Angeles Thieves have had a great run through the qualifiers, their record now stands at 4-1, with their sole defeat coming against the OpTics. They stand just below the OpTics in fourth place, their performance being on a steady rise since their last Major. It is left to be seen whether their skills will take them past their competitors, all the way to the top.

Another noteworthy team is the Seattle Surges. They made a name for themselves by defeating Atlanta 3-0 during the last qualifiers, and have had a great run this season. They placed within the top six at the CDL Major 3, their only defeats being against Atlanta and Texas. Though they don’t quite hit the mark to be title contenders just yet, we may very well see them at the Elimination Finals.

With that said, the OpTics rightly deserve the title, thanks to their commitment and consistency this season. However, though they may be leading the charge, they still have quite a bit of work cut out for them if they want to secure the win. Teams such as the Los Angeles Thieves and the Atlanta FaZes will pose a challenge. Both these teams have shown significant improvements throughout the last few games, and it will be interesting to see how they will perform at the upcoming Major. Regardless of the outcome, it should make for an interesting competition as the finals draw nearer.
