Call of Duty Mobile’s Chinese version gets over 50 million pre-registrations

Call of Duty: Mobile’s Chinese Edition has garnered over 50 million pre-registration.

China is on the verge of getting a taste of Call of Duty: Mobile, a year after the game was introduced for the rest of the world. The mobile gaming community was taken over by COD: Mobile as it was able to rival PUBGM and Free Fire. The esports scene for CODM is also growing steadily, and now with Chinese players involved, the scene will likely be embraced by organizations of the same region.

Publishers will drop a separate version of the same game addressing the demands of the Chinese government. It took them about a year to convince the government of China, and finally, the game is set to make its way into the Chinese market.

South East Asia is arguably the biggest market for mobile esports, and China constitutes a big part of it. Having the gates for CODM open for the Chinese market will inevitably bring a large number of players to the game, and the pre-registration numbers are an example of just that.
