Developer’s Response and Rectification
CD Projekt Red has expressed its apologies for the unintended offenses and is working diligently to replace the offensive remarks in the upcoming update. The developer stated, “We apologize for this situation and are taking steps to ensure it does not happen again,” highlighting its commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive gaming environment.
While the developer has clarified that the offensive remarks were unintended, it has openly supported Ukraine, donating approximately £181,000 to Polska Akcja Humanitarna, a humanitarian organization in Poland.
