North American organisation Chaos Esports are considering an exit from the CSGO scene, according to DBLTAP.
The organisation will reportedly still be invested into the esports scene but are being advised by their investors to withdraw the CSGO scene.
Chaos has built a successful CSGO roster, mainly under the tutelage of Josh ‘steel’ Nissan, who propelled the team into being one of the best squads in North America. The organisation achieved several high placements in prestigious events under steel before the former iBUYPower star chose to sign for 100Thieves’ Valorant roster.
Chaos had brought in Edgar ‘MarkE’ Maldonado to replace steel. However, the youthful squad is yet to replicate their success and could now be on the lookout for a new home.
Chaos coach Matthew Elmore seemed to confirm the eventuality of the rumour, appealing to organisations interested in helping the current Chaos squad find a new home.
The boys have done their organisation proud though, by defeating Evil Geniuses to reach the Grand Finals of the IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 North American circuit. If it indeed turns out to be their last event under Chaos, the squad would like to go out with a trophy and show the suitors what they have to offer.
