Cloud9, the North-American organisation, have announced that they will no longer use the services of Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey.
kioShiMa leaves the organisation, less than 6 months after being signed by Cloud9. He first acted as a stand-in for the organisation at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen.
With the 6 LAN events he attended with Cloud9, the French player averaged a rating of 1.06 and helped them so reach the finals of ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational. The team were unable to reach the playoffs stage at IEM Katowice Major.
In an interview, kioShiMa said, “I really appreciate Cloud9 giving me the opportunity to play professional CSGO again. I’m looking forward to what’s next for me in my career and I wish Cloud9 the best.”
With this change, Cloud9 lose their major slot as majority of the lineup who played at IEM Katowice have left the team. The team lost Robin “flusha” Rönnquist and Jordan “Zellsis” Montemurro.
Currently, the team is trialing Daniel “vice” Kim to complete the team. The team will be seen in action on the 12th of April BLAST Pro Series Miami.
With kioShiMa’s departure, Cloud9 now have:
- Timothy “autimatic” Ta
- William “RUSH” Wierzba
- Maikil “Golden” Selim
- Daniel “vice” Kim (trial)
- Ronald “Rambo” Kim (coach)
