Cloud9 on their Twitter has announced about the addition of Ricky ‘floppy’ Kemery to their roster as the 4th player of their “Colossal rebuild”. The 20yo North American Prodigy was previously a part of the team led by Johnny ‘JT’ Theodosiou after Cloud9 decided to restructure their entire CS:GO division.
At Cloud9, floppy averaged with a rating of 1.13 across his showings while competing with the team. Some of his exhibiting plays did help the team to finish in the fourth position at the Inaugural FLASHPOINT season followed by the ESL: Road to Rio North America where they placed third and bagged a total of 1400 RMR Points in a bid to book a spot at the Major.
This move was earlier reported by Jarek ‘Dekay’ Lewis from DBLTAP.com which stands confirmed by the Organization. In a Tweet, Cloud9’s General Manager Henry ‘HenryG’ Greer highlighted the new contract details of floppy where the 20yo will be paid 432,000 USD across a period of 3 years. With this addition, the team now comprises four players out of the six-player roster layout with the rest two still to be decided by the same.
With more two players yet to be announced by the lone Major winner in North America, Cloud9 now have:
Alex “ALEX” McMeekin
William “mezii” Merriman
Özgür “woxic” Eker
Ricky “floppy” Kemery
Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović (Head coach)
