Cobx gaming today announced its flagship esports tournament called Cobx Masters 2018 Phase II, which will be held from 1st March to 3rd March 2019.
The tournament is said to be the largest esports tournament in India and will feature a massive prize pool of $200,000 which will be spread equally between DOTA 2 and CSGO.
The 1st phase of this event was held in summer this year across 10 cities in India, among much fanfare. The aim of the tournament is to grow the esports scene in South Asia and put India on the map as one of the best gaming regions in Asia.
Speaking on the development, Rajdip Gupta, founder of Cobx gaming said

Cobx Masters 2018 is the realisation of that vision and we plan on continuing to grow the community in India and South Asia going forward. This event marks a stepping-stone towards many more milestones Cobx aims to achieve. With the aim to present esports for everyone, we want to lay the foundation by lighting the torch for similar international events to call South Asia their home.
