Players getting shadow banned for playing COD Warzone after years

Issues are not leaving behind Call of Duty Warzone. The popular battle royale title faced cheaters, glitches, bugs, and whatnot. A lot of players complained to the developers regarding those issues and numerous players also left the game. While the COD Warzone community seems shaky, another problem is coming up right now. Players who are playing after a long time, are getting shadow-banned instantly. As a result, they are not getting matches.

Not only one, but a lot of players have also reported this issue on Reddit as well.

Apparently, players who were inactive for a long time, get shadow-banned instantly by Activision. Reportedly, the developers take such steps to prevent hacking in the game.

Even though the ban is quite frustrating, it shouldn’t last more than a week or so. Shadow ban has been used by multiple game developers previously. However, with such a huge number of cheaters, glitches, and bugs, it isn’t clear how Activision is preparing to revive the community.
