Coldzera doesn’t want to continue playing with MiBR; puts in a request to be benched

HLTV. org has learned that Marcelo “coldzera” David does not plan on continuing to play with MiBR and he wants to take up another challenge in his professional Counter-Strike career.

One of HLTV’s sources has informed HLTV that coldzera will only play BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles and IEM Chicago with the MiBR roster. After those two events, he will be moved away from the active lineup and be benched by the Brazilian Organisation. The 24-year-old superstar will be replaced by zews, their coach, at the StarLadder Major.

The Brazilian team recently added LUCAS1 from Luminosity after the removal of felps. The Brazilian team had been riddled with a string of poor results and hoped to sort those issues with another roster change.

HLTV’s source claim that the bad results have impacted cold’s in-game confidence and that played badly on his in-game performance.

Additionally, this roster change will see the two-time major winning core of fer, Fallen and cold being broken and the trio playing on separate teams.

The MiBR roster will stand as:

  • Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
  • Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
  • Epitacio “TACO” de Melo
  • Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles (loan)
  • Marcelo “coldzera” David (bench)
  • João “felps” Vasconcellos (loaned out)
  • Wilton “zews” Prado (coach)
