If you’re a veteran Counter-Strike player, you’re surely aware of the legendary Na’Vi roster which defined age in competitive CS. Looks like fans will get to see them in action once again as they’re up for a showmatch where they take on a team of famous CIS streamers in a BO5.
The showmatch is scheduled to take place today on May 11th at 16:00 CET. The Na’Vi lineup will consist of players from its 2010-2013 roster including Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko, Sergey “starix” Ischuk, Yegor “markeloff” Markelov, Arseny “ceh9” Trynozhenko and Ioann “Edward” Sukharev.
Zeus has officially retired from competitive CSGO in 2019 while Edward hasn’t made an appearance in an official match since August 2019. Markeloff, too, hasn’t entered the professional scene since 2018. Starix currently plays as an IGL for 1win, and ceh9 has shifted as a CSGO caster and YouTuber. With all of them going separate ways, fans will be eagerly awaiting their reunion in the showmatch.
The team of the CIS streamers will consist of popular names in the CIS sce like Stefan “1mpala” Ailazyan, Vadim “Evelone” Kozakov, Maksim “QRUSH” Ilyushin, Eric “Shoke” Shokov and Buster.
The HLTV page for the showmatch displays that games one, three, and five will take place on CSGO while games two (de_tuscan) and four (de_inferno) will take place on CS 1.6.
