Counter-Strike 2 has been in beta for several months now, but most players still haven’t been able to get their hands on it. Valve recently boosted beta access, but even with this increase, only around 5% of players have been able to get in.
There are a few reasons why so few players have been able to get into the CS2 beta. First, Valve has been very selective about who they give access to. They’ve only been giving access to players who have been active in the Counter-Strike community, such as professional players and streamers.
Second, the beta is still in its early stages, so Valve is only giving access to a small number of players at a time. This is to make sure that the servers don’t get overloaded and to give Valve time to fix any bugs that are found.
Finally, some players simply haven’t been lucky enough to get into the beta. There are only a limited number of slots available, so it’s just a matter of chance who gets in and who doesn’t.
It’s unclear when Valve will open up the beta to more players. However, the fact that they’ve boosted beta access is a good sign that they’re eventually planning to do so. In the meantime, players who are eager to try CS2 will just have to wait their turn.
