CS2 Pro Jkaem Accused of Gambling $11K Borrowed Skins During Paris Major

Professional CS2 player Joakim ‘Jkaem‘ Myrbostad has been accused of gambling and losing borrowed skins worth $11,000 during the Paris Major in 2023.

A series of allegations has surfaced on Twitter by a user going by the name Erlsan. He has claimed that he lent Jkaem CS skins worth $11,000 during the Paris Major which took place in March of 2023. Instead of returning them, Jkaem has gambled with said skins and has been finding ways to evade paying him back.

“In March 2023 I lent out skins to Jkaem to play with during the Paris major,” he said. “Months later, he had gambled my skins away. After a year of excuses, lies and deceits, I have no choice left but to go public with this.” said Erslan.

Jkaem responds to allegations:

In a cryptic post, Jkaem indirectly admitted to these allegations and has promised to work with his current organisation to pay back the amount that is owed. He said: “Together with BC team, we are sitting down and taking this very seriously.

“They want to help me fix the damage I have caused to everyone involved. I am being honest and open with them about my issues and how we have ended here.” he added.

Despite Jkaem revealing his actions, the organisation has yet to comment on the matter. The Norwegian has been around the scene for a very long time and has been a reputed name in the community, these allegations will definitely tarnish his name moving forward.

Now that he has promised to pay back, it is likely that Erslan will get his money back after such a public fallout. One thing to consider here, if Ersland does get his money back, it has been two years and CS2 skins appreciate in value which begs the question if Jkaem is willing to pay the surplus.
