9z has solidified its Counter-Strike 2 roster with the addition of Adam “adamS” Marian. This move fills the vacancy left by Franco “dgt” Garcia’s departure from the starting lineup.
adamS, a Spanish-raised player originally from Romania, has already touched down in Argentina and joined his new teammates. His first appearance in the 9z jersey is scheduled for Wednesday against ODDIK in their CCT Season 2 South American Series 7 playoffs opener.
adamS brings a wealth of experience from top-tier teams in both Spain and Romania, including Nexus and Movistar Riders (later KOI). His career highlights include a trip to the PGL CS2 Major in Copenhagen with KOI and a quarter-final finish in ESL Pro League Season 18.
Interestingly, during that ESL Pro League run, adamS and current 9z AWPer Antonio “MartinezSa” Martinez were teammates. They even faced 9z in the playoffs’ second round, ultimately eliminating them en route to their own quarter-final placement. Now, the two are reunited, this time under the banner of the Argentine club.
The updated 9z roster now consists of:
- Luca “Luken” Nadotti
- Adam “adamS” Marian
- Maximiliano “max” Gonzalez
- Antonio “MartinezSa” Martinez
- Matias “HUASOPEEK” Ibañez Hernandez
- Gustavo “yel” Knittel (coach)
