Brazilian Counter-Strike legend Marcelo “coldzera” David has agreed to join the RED Canids CS2 roster, as confirmed by reports from Dust2Br and The Clutch.
According to the reports, the contract hasn’t been signed yet, which is why no official announcement has been made at the time of writing.
Before this, the 29-year-old had been an integral part of Legacy since September 2023 but was relegated to the bench by the end of March. In mid-April, the two-time Major champion announced his departure from the organization.
Coldzera will step in to fill the void left by Lucas “destiny” Bullo on RED Canids. Destiny was benched from the team in late March after their disappointing performance in the Americas RMR for the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024.
Following coldzera’s move, the new RED Canids roster will include the following players:
- Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo
- David “dav1deuS” Tapia Maldonado
- Gabriel “nython” Lino
- Wesley “hardzao” Lopes
- Marcelo “coldzera” David
- João “righi” Righi (coach)
- Lucas “destiny” Bullo (benched)
