CS2 Dataminer Hints at a New Operation

New CS2 Operation: What the Leaks Reveal

A Counter-Strike 2 data miner is alleging that an Operation would include a plethora of new content for the game. Many believed that the 25th anniversary of CS would be the day we get a new operation but as things stand, it might be on its way at a later date.

The last operation i.e. Operation Riptide was released in September of 2021. Three years have passed since that day and players have been craving for a new operation. Operations are a nice way to make the game more lively and give a holistic festive feeling.

Popular data miner Gabe Follower has revealed in a video several fresh clues discovered in the file of CS2, pointing to a new Operation. According to him, CS2’s code contains references to a newly added comic that was only made available with a new Operation.

Being deprived of an operation for 3 years, fans are eagerly waiting for a new one and the 25th anniversary presents a prime opportunity for the developers to celebrate it with a brand-new operation.

The weeklong festival of CS will not only bring tons of fresh content to the game but will bring along tons of rewarding missions that you can enjoy with friends. We are unsure when exactly Valve plans to release it but it would be safe to assume that the wait won’t be long.
