CS2 sensation donk banned from Twitch

Team Spirit sensation Danil “donk” Kryshkovets has been banned from Twitch for violating the terms of service.

The teenager made a name for himself after leading a fledgling Team Spirit side to an IEM Title. Having been promoted to the senior team from the academy roster during the inception of CS2, donk was already feared across the lesser-known leagues which begged the question, of whether the performances he put up for the academy team could be replicated against the best in the scene.

After his performance at IEM Katowice, one of the most prestigious CS tournaments, he established himself and Team Spirit has forces to be reckoned with. Since then, IEM Katowice, donk, and Spirit have been heavy hitters and have been delivering consistent performances across the events that followed.

Being a teenager has earned him the title of a CS2 prodigy but his age has come back to haunt him after it was revealed that his Twitch account was made before he was 13. “Got banned on Twitch because I created an account when I wasn’t 13 years old,”  he wrote.

Twitch’s ToS requires a streamer to be 13 or above to register an account which he wasn’t at the time of creating his account. Following his rise to stardom, it came to the moderators’ attention and donk has been banned from Twitch.

Team Spirit has skipped CS2 tournaments since the Major and they are once again set to play in the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 later this month. donk has some time in his hands in case he chooses to recreate an account and start streaming once again.
