CS2 Server Outages Across the World Sparks Controversy

CS2’s launch was far from rushed by the developers yet the game was launched with a plethora of issues that are getting resolved with every update but at an alarmingly slow pace.

If you have been playing CS2 on Valve servers lately, chances are you have noticed that several servers near your location were down for maintenance for a long time which no one knows why. While your matches get relocated to the closest working servers, it comes with the obvious downside of a higher ping.

Valve is yet to address this issue given server maintenance usually doesn’t last more than a few hours whereas the likes of Mumbai and Chennai servers are down for over 2 days which is routing all the matches to SEA servers.

Popular CS insider ThourCS2 has taken a dig a Riot suggesting they take long hours during maintenance at the same time it taunts CS2 for being unable to solve the cheating problem like Riot did with their superior anti-cheat system.

While it is unclear why the servers are down for more than 48 hours we can only assume that the issue will get resolved in no time.
